It’s been madness here. I’m packing up things I forgot I had. Boxes are piling up in every corner. We’re all confused, can’t find the cutlery, the kitchen is in chaos … and the count-down is on!

At the same time I’m getting ready for the big pottery sale on May 19th … here, from noon to 4:00. I’ve got boxes of pottery to unpack (because we packed it up to show the house…).

And, lots of pots to get ready for the sale!
Coming out …
and, gathering up the loose ends …
Platters … sushi, maybe?
Or cake?
A mug for tea?
Or bowls for salad or pasta?
Plus lots and lots of teapots, teabowls, etc. I think there may even be some wall plaques!

But there is so much more to do …
Mark the date on your calendar. Saturday, May 19th — noon to 4:00. It’s part sale and part going away bash. I’ll have wine and cheese — and we’ll raise a toast to the good times I’ve had here and at the old place in Port Hope. This is a very hard place to leave. I have great students and friends so this is very bittersweet. Come and share the moment with me …
