Had a wild couple of days … up to Cambridge to see a show with the kids on Friday, company Saturday, company Sunday, BFF sick, etc., etc.

What’s the result of all that?  NO POTTERY DONE!  That’s right, I’m in a wood firing in a couple of weeks and all I have for it is teapots …   I need cream and sugars for the teapots and at least a dozen mugs done in the next few days.  Not to mention some bowls to make it worth while.   In the meantime, Tony Clennell is coming to the Visual Arts Centre, so that kills Saturday & Sunday (they’re bringing in extra wheels if you want to join us!),  The deconstruction guys are coming to dig up my gardens and build massive rock retaining walls starting Monday (it’s going to look like the entrance to Algonquin …) and I’ve got gazillion seeds coming from Richter’s for my new herb gardens (which my husband doesn’t realize will be there …).  To top that all off I’m heading to the Dharma Centre on Tuesday to do a little work up there.

What a whine, eh?  Just imagine — no hubby (to put in the gardens), no kids, no bff’s, no company, no pottery workshops, no plants, no Dharma Centre.  What a sad and sorry life that would be!  So, what are you going to do, eh?  Get on with it I suppose.  But if you’re looking for me, I will be digging up plants and attempting to get some work done on the wheel — here’s hoping the shoulders hold up!

Hoping you are well and happy,

Susan
