Yes, it’s safe to let them out to play now.  I’m finished running around to shows until next year!  Chances of running them down in the streets are pretty slim …

NOW IT’S YOUR TURN TO COME TO ME!

About 60 brown sugar keeps -- will run out no doubt!

About 60 brown sugar keepers — will run out no doubt!

That’s right — it’s time for my Annual Christmas Open House and it’s going to be even more fabulous here in the new location.  I have a couple of other friendly potters joining in — Heike is bringing her new colorful wares, and Susan L is bringing ceramic jewellry — and I have lots of new pieces that are ready for the kiln right now.  Just waiting for the exhaust for the kiln to be finished (see photos) and then all of the green ware spread all over the place can find it’s home!

The Open House is on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm each day.  We are going to have hot apple cider (local of course), home-made cookies and biscuits, maybe even some of my crab-apple jelly … we’ll see how long that lasts.  It is mighty good!

And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to take home one of my slip cast Christmas Ornaments. I’m giving one to everyone until they’re all gone, and I have a new batch of brown sugar keepers heading into the kiln this afternoon too!

You could take home an angel ...

So, come on out.  The view is grand and the studio will be all gussied up.  Some of my paintings will be on view too …
